| In 1998, a Belgian band named Psywarfare, (which is possibly best described as harsh electronic?) released an album entitled "Circle Gets The Square". The first track on the CD is "Oh, Those Midgets...Wild!" and includes several Lynde audio clips from "Bye Bye Birdie". And Paul saying "Kids!" is repeated several times throughout the track. Paul's image (along with Nancy Walker's) is featured on the back of the CD case and Paul's photo appears a couple of times in the CD booklet and on the CD itself! Although this isn't really my type of music, it's pretty neat that Paul was so prominently featured. Click the 'play' button on the jukebox at the right, to hear the track. |
